Upon arrival at Varansi, meet and transfer to the hotel. Afternoon take an excursion to Sarnath which is located approx. 10 kms from Varanasi. Sarnath is the place where lord Buddha gave his first sermon or as the Buddhist say set the 'wheel of dharma' or law rolling. Sarnath is one of the richest place to have antiques since the Ashoka period to the 12th century. Overnight at the Hotel.
After breakfast, take a same day trip to Bodhgaya. Reach Bodhgaya and visit:-The giant Bodhi Tree (Peepal), this tree is believed to have grown from the original Bodhi Tree under which, sitting on the raised platform, Prince Siddharth meditated and attained Nirvana. Chaukramana - it is believed that the Buddha strolled while in deep thought here. Also visit Maha Bodhi temple and Shaivite Monastery. Afternoon drive back to Varanasi hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
After breakfast, check-out and visit:- Ghats of Varanasi, The Kashi Vishwanath Temple/ Gyanvapi Mosque, Durga Temple, Bharat Mata Temple and Tulsi Manas Temple. Afternoon you will be transferred to Varanasi railway station or airport for your journey back home with fond memories of the trip. Tour Ends...(All distances and timings are approx. )
