Amritsar Tour Overview
Amritsar derives its name from Amrit Sarovar, built by Guru Ram Das in the village of Tung. It is believed that the water of the lake has healing powers. It is the largest city in Punjab. Amritsar is the centre of Sikhism and it is the holiest and biggest worship place of Sikhs – the most famous being the Harmandir Sahib, or The Golden Temple. This tour starts from Amritsar, takes you through the beautiful journey of Amritsar, and then drives to Amritsar Airport / Station to end the journey.

Pickup from Amritsar Railway Station/ Airport transfer to the hotel. Check-in the Hotel and later enjoy your city tour of Golden Temple- the most sacred temple for Sikhs. It is a symbol of the magnificence and strength of the Sikh people all over the world. Later visit the Jallianwala Bagh which is a memorial to the countless numbers of innocent Indians which were massacred by General Dyer on April 13, 1919. British General, Edward Dyer, ordered his soldiers to opened fire on an unarmed gathering of Hundreds men, women and children in this place & visit Durgiana Temple. Later enjoy the shopping in Amritsar Market Katra Jamal Singh, Lawrence Road. Evening visit Wagah Border is situated at a distance of 28 kilometers from Amritsar. This place to see the change of guards ceremony and the flag hoisting and lowering activities which are done with great skill and precision by the border security forces of both the countries, Wagah is the only land border open between Pakistan and India. Return back to the hotel and overnight at Hotel.
After check-out from hotel drop to Railway station/ Airport to depart the journey. Tour Ends.
