Amritsar derives its name from Amrit Sarovar, built by Guru Ram Das in the village of Tung. It is believed that the water of the lake has healing powers. It is the largest city in Punjab. Amritsar is the centre of Sikhism and it is the holiest and biggest worship place of Sikhs – the most famous being the Harmandir Sahib, or The Golden Temple. This tour starts from Chandigarh, takes you through the beautiful journey of Manali , Chandigarh, Amritsar, and then drive back to Chandigarh to end the journey.

By Road:Â One of the best options will be through buses like Volvo buses, as they are well connected to all the major cities.

After breakfast, visit Solang Valley & Rohtang Pass (On Direct Payment) - Situated about 51 km from Manali town at an altitude of 4,111 meters (13,400 ft.) on the highway to Keylong, is Rohtang Pass. Overnight at Hotel.
After breakfast, enjoy city tour of Manali and visit:-:-Hadimba Temple - Built in 1553, this four-story wooden Hadimba or Dhungiri temple is famous for its exquisitely caved doorway. Jagatsuhk - About 6 kms. from Manali is the famous Shiva Temple in "shikara" style. It houses temples dedicated to Lord Shiva and Sandhya Gayatri. Vashist Hot Water Springs and Temple (3 kms) - Across the Beas river is Vashist, a small village with natural sulphur springs. Modern bathhouses, with Turkish-style showers, have the hot water piped into them for the convenience of the visitors who come here to benefit from the medicinal properties. Evening enjoy shopping at the Mall Road. Overnight at the hotel.
After finishing your breakfast, check-out from your hotel and drive to Chandigarh, en-route visit Kullu:- Rafting has captured great interests of tourists visiting Manali & Kullu. The mighty river Beas along with its tributaries offer irresistible excitement to adventure lovers. The fascinating rafting sites of Mohal, Raison & Katrain offer wonderful grades & fun. Later continue to Chandigarh and check in to the hotel. Overnight at hotel.
After breakfast, enjoy city tour of Chandigarh. Later visit: Rock Garden: which is an epitome of creativity and innovation. It is a unique garden that consists of various art objects. But best part about the rock garden is that each of its artwork has been made by using industrial & urban waste. It is located between the Capitol Complex and Sukhna Lake. The credit for laying its foundation goes to Nek Chand, who was the then Road Inspector in the Engineering Department of Chandigarh Capital Project. Also Rose garden of Chandigarh, India's largest of its kind in Asia. Chandigarh's rose garden contains more than 17,000 plants. There are nearly 1,600 varieties of roses over there. It is a spacious garden covering an area of 27 acres. After lunch on your own, drive to Amritsar. Evening visit Wagah Border - Located at a distance of 28 kilometers from Amritsar. It is the only border crossing between India and Pakistan. Later drive back to the hotel. Overnight at hotel.
After breakfast, checkout from hotel and visit:-Golden Temple - Also called Sri Harmandir Sahib, the most visited tourist attraction of Amritsar.The Golden Temple was laid by Guru Ram Das in the 14th century. Later proceed to visit Jallianwala Bagh. Jallianwala Bagh is a five-minute walk from the Golden Temple. Later drive to Chandigarh airport to board your onward flight with fond memories of trip.
